  Volunteer Orientation
Do you want to make a difference in an animal’s life? Want to take some time to just relax with a furry friend? Whether you’re a dog person or a cat person, we’d be happy to have you at the Humane Society of Lebanon County. Countless volunteer opportunities are available, from walking dogs to socializing cats! And the best part? You can make it fit YOU’RE schedule!

The volunteer orientation will include a brief introduction on the various volunteer options available and general volunteer protocol, as well as a brief tour of the facilities. This is your chance to get to know some of the staff as well as the layout of the dog and cat housings.

What do you need to bring? All you’ll need is a completed volunteer application form that can be found on our website at www.lebanonhumane.org. Just go to the “Volunteer” tab, print an application, and you’re good to go! You’ll also need some form of ID. The Humane Society no longer requires a background check, so don’t worry about that!

Attendance at the Humane Society of Lebanon County’s volunteer orientation is required before anyone can begin volunteering. It’s a great way to get to know who the Humane Society is, and what we do to help care for the abandoned, unwanted, and neglected animals in our community. You’ll also get to meet other animal lovers just like yourself! So, swing on by! We’re so excited to meet you!
