Tyra Craun is 11 years old. She is currently a 5th grade student at South Lebanon Elementary with a kind heart. This year for her birthday she wanted to invite friends to the shelter and asked her friends to donate food or money to the Humane Society. Everyone had an excellent time! Tyra and her mother Janell mentioned that the shelter staff was so friendly and helpful! Thank you to Tyra and her friends for their generosity and their love of animals!

Katie Davis decided that she wanted to help the animals at the humane society, so she collected donations for her 7th birthday this year. WOW! We were just amazed at the amount of wonderful donations that they kept bringing into the office! Katie was almost buried in dog food, cat food, and lots of great pet supplies. Thank you so much Katie. You are a wonderful young lady and the animals thank you for your love and support!

In October 2009 Courtney Brandt and her family adopted a cat from the Lebanon Humane Society. Courtney decided that she wanted to somehow help all the other animals that are still looking for their forever home. So she and her mother came up with the idea to accept donations at her upcoming 10th birthday, instead of accepting gifts. Courtney collected quite a wonderful selection of both dog and cat food! Thank you so much Courtney! Your donation will certainly help the animals that are still waiting for a home.

“After visiting the shelter recently on a group trip, Tyler Bradley was saddened to see all of the many animals that were still waiting to be adopted here at the Humane Society. Tyler’s 9th birthday was coming up and he decided he wanted to make a difference in the lives of these animals waiting for adoption. So instead of asking for gifts at his birthday party, Tyler asked for donations to the shelter…. and collected $100! How wonderful! Thank you so much Tyler for your kindness!”

Ashley Peters recently celebrated her 11th birthday! Happy Birthday Ashley! She had a birthday party and decided to collect items for the Humane Society of Lebanon County in lieu of gifts for herself. Ashley collected dog food, cat food, cat litter and dog treats. Ashley and her family own a dog, a Rottweiler! Thank you Ashley for your wonderful donation!

Rheece Shuey from Newmanstown celebrated his 6th birthday on January 9, 2010! Happy Birthday Rheece!! Rheece decided, for his birthday, he wanted to collect donations to give to the Humane Society. He collected a great selection of dog food, cat food, cat litter, and a few other supplies just for the animals down at the shelter. Thank you so much Rheece for your kind and generous donation!
This young man is Luke Drain. For Luke’s 8th Birthday Party, he did not accept any gifts for himself. Luke accepted donations for the homeless animals at the Humane Society of Lebanon County. What a sweet and generous boy! They collected cat and dog food, cat and dog treats, collars, leashes, Clorox, paper towels, plus some blankets and towels.
Thank you so much Luke!
And Happy Birthday from all the animals at the Humane Society!
