HSLC002810A - This adorable old boy is Brooklyn. Brooklyn is a 7 year old Old English Sheepdog mix that was surrendered in June. He needed to be shaved due to the very poor condition of his coat, so he probably does not look much like a Sheepdog. Brooklyn is such a sweet boy... he sits on command and seems to love taking walks. As you can see he is just craving love and attention. Please consider taking this old boy into your home!

HSLC000224A - Lilly is a 6 year old spayed female pit bull mix surrendered in early June because she was having a difficult time getting along with other pets in the house. So she will most likely need to be placed in a home as the only pet. However, Lilly is just as sweet as they come! She is such a gentle girl, and just loves when you talk to her and give her your full attention. With just a little work and some basic training, we feel she will be a wonderful pet!

HSLC002927A - Chyna is an adult female pit bull. Chyna will not be placed in a home with other dogs. She is a very friendly girl, but does pull on the leash when walking and will need some work with that. Chyna just loves attention and seems so full of life.

HSLC002825A - JD is a senior, neutered, male Shepherd mix found as a stray. He is a very big, handsome boy with a very thick coat. JD is SO calm, cool, and relaxed and seems to be a fairly old boy. He will most likely do well in a family that is also calm. We just think JD is super special and deserves a wonderful home to call his own. - Adopted!

HSLC002913A - John John is a 3 year old male pit bull surrendered in early July. John John is a very big boy that will need a strong and patient owner to work with him on some basic training. John John has previously lived with both dogs and cats, but does not play well with children, and therefore, will not be placed in a home with them.

HSLC002983A - Penny is a very cute adult female Dalmatian found as a stray in early July. Penny sometimes seems a little shy when you see her in her kennel, however, please give this girl a chance and take her for a walk. She is a typical bouncy Dalmatian and her new owners must realize she will have lots of energy. But Penny is sweet and deserves a chance at a fantastic new life.

HSLC001979A - Peppy is a 6 year old, neutered male, Spaniel/Welsh Springer mix. He was surrendered because his owners were moving and they could not take him along. Peppy listens to commands, loves to play with his toys, and is an all around very good dog. If you think you may be interested in Peppy, please give this sweet boy a chance and come to the shelter to meet him!

HSLC003119A - Little Bear is an adult male Norwegian Elkhound found as a stray in July. Little Bear is just as handsome as they come! He's friendly and full of energy. - Adopted!

HSLC003216A - Billy is an adult male Jack Russell mix found as a stray. He seems fairly calm and very well behaved, and he just loves belly scratches! Billy sits on command and walks very well on a leash. Please take some time out of your day to visit with Billy.

HSLC003177A - Callie is an adult female Labrador Retriever found as a stray in August. Callie is a good girl that sits on command, seems to LOVE taking walks, and is an all around super girl. She may seem very excited when you take her out of her kennel, but give her just a few minutes and she turns into a fantastic girl. Please come to the shelter and meet our Callie!

HSLC003130A - Emma is an adult female Lab mix found as a stray. We also think she might have some pit bull in her. Emma seems to be such a gentle girl. She sits on command, loves treats, and will go anywhere with you!

HSLC003215A - Rocky is an adult male Labrador Retriever that was found as a stray in early August. Rocky is a very young boy, probably less than one year, and just full of energy. He's lovable and super friendly, but will definitely need some basic training. He will also need to have daily exercise and a large yard to play in. We think Rocky will be a great dog if he is given structure and lots of walks & playtime!

HSLC003019A - This big handsome boy is Thor. Thor is a 7 year old, male Rottweiler surrendered to the shelter because he does not play very well with young children. Thor has lived with both cats and dogs and has had previous obedience training. Thor is such a good boy, and amazingly easy to handle for such a big guy. He walks well on a leash and is just an easygoing Rotti. If you love Rottweilers, you will just adore Thor!

HSLC003167A - Jenni is an adult female pitbull mix. Jenni is just so sweet and docile. She trots right along with you when you take a walk... and she loves to stop and sniff and just be with you. Jenni is a thin girl and is probably mixed with several other breeds, but we think she's a special girl nomatter what breed she is! Please consider taking Jenni for a walk!
